Sunglasses Please!!

These beauties are what I have been working on this week...

Have done around 6 hours dyeing this week, still taking it slowly....and the change of approach is really working.

I dye what I want, when I want... and it's showing in the quality of the work... well, to my eyes anyway... *GRiNS*

So...I think that my MoJo has returned somewhat :)

All these beauties are now in the shop for PREVIEW only... and the update will go live tomorrow night at 8pm.

What's in my headspace is still plaguing me though...yesterday was a *BAAAAD* day... *sighs*

But, one bad day this week is better than 7 bad days.....so I am thankful for that.

That's me looking on the bright side, by the way...

Saturday Inspiration

This picture was posted on my Ravelry Group "Friday Inspirations" thread. but I was really busy yesterday, so I decided that I'd have some fun with my dyeing today :)

I have called this little lot "Autumnal Fire", as it's quite a topical subject, with the changing of the seasons going on at the moment, and also as a little artistic homage to Mr Wool :)

Whilst dyeing, I listened to a few new albums that Husbeast got for me, namely the entire Rammstein back catalogue, so I felt that it was fitting to name a few of them in German :)

I picked up a new base yarn to try out whilst I was at the 'Fest...it's a 75% merino~25% silk aran, with quite a high twist on it.

It's spinning up quite fast....and I am loving the colours :)

Secret plans and clever tricks

I woke up in the middle of the night on Tuesday, with a new hat pattern in my head and the idea of a perfect yarn to do it in :)
So here we go......this is merino/silk in the greens/yellows of my enchanted colourway, and I'll be plying it with jet black merino......
Look out for the new beanie pattern too....and of course it will be free for all, for personal use......

Custom Fibre

200g of Merino/Silk top, done as a custom order for a returning customer.......
Was meant to post it today, but it was way too ht, and I too tired, to go to the post office...... hehehe
No, its not an excuse, I'm not trying to keep it ALL for myself ;)
