Cable Twist IV......Sparkle!!!

Finished these the other day.....and they are so full of win :)
Firstly because I have 52g of the yarn left over to make MORE and secondly because they sparkle :D
They are made from Fyberspate's Sparkle sock yarn, which has 5% sterling silver in it ;)

We were on our way back from a hospital appointment today, and we just happened to pass Fat Face.....well, I just fancied a little looksee....as you do ;)

I walked straight past them, but Phil picked them up and showed them to me.....then he got the shotgun out of his pocket and put it to my head.....hehehe

And, would you believe, I had my sock knitting bag with me for the waiting room at the hospital, and so I had my finished left sock on me at the time!!! So I tried them on with the sock!!! How completely full of WIN is that?????

And when I got them to the till, they were in the sale!!!

These shoes were made for my new socks.....so they had to be purchased....

Somethin' about green and me

Decided I don't like having cold feet.....3 pairs of socks just isn't enough at the moment, my feet are always cold :( So, I am knitting myself some FuzzyFeet which are basically just huge socks!!! Have lots of oddments of Organic merino left over from knitting woollies...went through my faves and split them into two equal parts so the socks would match (anal, moi?) Have really got a thing about green at the moment too.......hmm.....

I am resisting the temptation to felt the first one, but MUST be good and wait till I've completed the second one!

Shouldn't take more than another night..... ***bounces***

Some interesting knitterly content!!!!

Finally finished my second Cable Twist III socks......and oh my they are comfortable.....I am definitely going to make more of these in this type of yarn!!! Its a DK-ish superwash yarn, and I knit them on 3mm pins....

This is a WoollyWormhead Jester Hat, knit from my own handspun as a gift to go in my UK Spinners swap parcel...... :)

Socks!!!!

Finally, I have finished these, I started them in February!!! I love them, knitted with Opal Handpainted sock yarn, in the colourway "Autumn Melody". The pattern I used is the Cable twist sock pattern, from Adrian Bizilia at Hello Yarn. Its a lovely simple pattern, that shows up really well with variegated yarn....
