Made with some gorgeous Handspun from the uber talented Yoshimi its an alpaca single and a red merino single plied together :) I finished it at Stitch n Bitch last night, but it was a bit short, so I frogged back the decreases today and added an inch or so.....covers my ears now :) Its lully...me like :o)

Its a WoollyWormhead pattern, her Ribbed Beanie (PDF link) Its the second one I have done, the last one was with some of Woolly's handspun I bought at SkipNorth :)

We're in!!!

Kids bedroom is finished...well it's liveable in ;)
Have had to put the bunk bed up, as Daniel's matress is way too wide for the built up cabin bed in the small room (which will eventually be his room)...but Dan's happy, and I think its nice for them to be together in there until Joel gets used to being in a new place.Our bed is up, the chests of drawers are in etc, clothes in built in wardrobes.
....As for the rest of the house...none of my curtains fit the new windows...bad planning I know.....its not like I havn't had enough time now is it.....
Feel a bit like a goldfish in a bowl...but hey...
Boxes everywhere....I still have 2 full boxes of kitchen stuff and no cupboard space left.....gah!
But we're all relatively happy.......its a nice place, really warm (we've had to turn the heating off as it was too warm!)...so much work still left to do though....

We're on the move....

We're moving into our new house over the weekend.....wish us luck!!!
The cable guy is coming tomorrow afternoon, to set up the TV and broadband, so *hopefully* I won't be offline for long......
I am both relieved its finally happening, and scared s**tless at the thought of coming outside my comfort zone...

Aaaargh....

Will update when we're in and living in a pile of boxes.....

As you know, I have a Louet, and Yoshimi has a Mazurka.......and I think this picture seems to sum our up personalities quite well.....

Paying it forward......

I have joined Riggwelter in this, as I love to make things for people, and also like to recieve a little something too :)

It's based of the concept of the movie "Pay it Forward" where acts or deeds of kindness are done without expecting something in return, just passing it on, with hope that the recipients of the acts of kindness are passed on.
