Little things.......

Now, I have been in a real hole this week....real life getting in the way of everything..including real life ;)

But today, something pulled me out of the funk.

Made me feel enthusiastic, happy even (yes, shock horror, HAPPY)....

A lovely lady, called Sharon (of Yarnimals Fame) made me this gorgeous silver shawl pin... and it arrived today...

Thankyou Sharon, you have no idea how grateful I am for your kindness.

Iceling Knit-a-long

I am hosting an exciting new Knit-a-long I am hosting in my Ravelry Forum

I have 3 patterns to support my yarns, all beautifully written by the very talented Carol Feller at Stolen Stitches, "Centrique", "Ziggy-Zag" and now "Iceling", a junior version of her Knitty design, "Iced".

I am offering the yarn and pattern at a special reduced price for the KAL, so why not pop over to the Forum and take part? You don't even have to buy new yarn, you can knit from stash and buy the pattern from Carol... although what better excuse to buy new yarn ;)

There's already 10 people signed up, so there'll be lots of people to work alongside, and Carol, of course will always be on hand to help with technical problems :D

I have both the yarn and the patterns en route to me, so I'll be ready to start dyeing next week :D
