I just finished spinning and plying the remains of the Cairns Polwarth I got from
Southern Cross Fibres. I’ve plied it with a semi~ solid purple single made up of baby alpaca, silk and cashmere, and then a space spun single made up of olive and a deep turquoise solid merino…
Its turned out really well….picked out all the lovely colours in the Polwarth and enhanced them….
I am going to make myself a
Cable Twist Beanie with it, as it will self stripe and look cool...... :)
